Have you ever been picked on because you're "different"? How did it make you feel? Have you ever picked on anyone because he or she is different? How do you think that person felt?
Author Alexis Bloomer's Kindness Is Key teaches young children about bullying. Using rhymes, Bloomer tells you what a bully is and what to do if you're bullied or see someone else being bullied. You'll learn the importance of accepting and learning from the differences in all of us.
Kindness Is Key promotes self-love and teaches you to apply these rhymes to your everyday life. Working together, we can prove that kindness still matters.

AWESOME gift with a great message!

I wish I could get this book into the hands of every child in America! We have given this book as a gift to several friends with kiddos and have read it to my daughter. Bullying is a real issue and I love how Alexis promotes inclusion and kindness. Growing up with a brother with autism, I know first hand how hurtful kids can be to someone who is "different" than them. Incredible message that challenges you to be a difference maker. Cannot recommend it enough!

I read this with my 11 year old in my lap. He kept telling me that he doesn't bully. I just reminded him that I was saying he does but that we want to help all our friends. He really liked the pictures of the people and the country part.
